Kapital HR is recruiting for one of the cilents in the portofolio, a well-known private school in Bucharest, a person to occupy the position of Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Requirements:
- University Graduate.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a DPO.
- Very good knowledge of the provisions stipulated in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
- SMSI ISO 27001 certification – will be seen as an advantage.

Job description:
- Informing and advising the organization regarding the existing rights and obligations in the field of personal data protection, including conducting impact studies on data protection and verifying performance.
- Monitoring the organization on compliance with regulations and legislation on personal data protection – develop and document GDPR processes and integrate them as part of compliance within GDPR legislation.
- Cooperation and point of contact with the Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, including risk assessments require by law and notifying the GDPR authorities when data is breached.
- Monitoring the application of tools and methods to improve the effectiveness of the information security management system.
- Audits, analysis and evaluation of the risks and gaps of personal data processing.
- Respecting the principle of objectivity in the field of personal data protection.
- Offer support and oversee the Training & Development process, presenting solutions to streamline the process, in liaison with the HR Department.
- Act as an internal auditor for the company’s insurance process, ensuring there is no excessive coverage or uncovered areas; in liaison with the President.
- Streamline and monitor legal processes, reviewing the month-end report received from the company’s lawyer; in liaison with the President.
- Streamline the process and enforce mechanism for the company’s administrative documents and stamps; in liaison with the OCC Department.
- Optimize and monitor the company’s archiving process; in liaison with the OCC Department.
