About the role:
GTA Group and Kapital HR are recruiting a Data Analyst for a top company in the field of distribution and import of premium food products, with national coverage and a varied portfolio of international brands.
The purpose of the role is to collect, analyze and interpret data on sales performance in order to support the company's strategic and operational decisions. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, procurement and management teams, providing valuable insights into market trends, customer behavior and the effectiveness of commercial campaigns.
The role has a direct impact on decision-making processes, and the right person will bring value through the automation of analysis and through a proactive approach to data interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Collecting, processing and analyzing sales data from various internal sources (ERP, CRM, WMS, in particular the De Silva software);
- Producing periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on the performance of sales, procurement and products;
- Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) and flagging deviations from targets;
- Identifying sales trends, market opportunities and areas with improvement potential (listing, delisting, product replacement);
- Supporting the sales team with ad-hoc analyses and forecasts, in close collaboration with the procurement departments and external partners;
- Automating reports and continuously improving analysis processes;
- Building interactive dashboards (Power BI, Excel etc.);
- Presenting conclusions and recommendations in a clear and action-oriented manner to management;
- Ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with support teams (IT, logistics, procurement).
Requirements
- Completed higher education (computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics or related fields);
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis roles, ideally in FMCG, distribution or retail;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, automations);
- Solid experience with Power BI, Google Data Studio or other BI tools (mandatory);
- Knowledge of SQL (an advantage);
- Attention to detail, logical thinking, capacity for synthesis and organization;
- Clear and concise communication skills, including for non-technical audiences;
- Intermediate/advanced level of English.
