About the role

Kapital HR is seeking a dedicated and efficient person to join the team of its client, a

well-known law firm in Romania, in the role of Managing Partner Assistant.

  • Maintains, completes, updates the daily agenda of the Associate Lawyer and provides the other Associate Lawyers and Employees with information in this regard in his/her absence;
  • Schedules the Associate Lawyer's meetings, both those with clients and those with the other employees on various topics;
  • Takes and transfers to the Associate Lawyer or, in his/her absence, records the telephone calls received from outside or directs them to his/her collaborators;
  • Drafts and types ordinary correspondence, time sheets and invoices, makes copies, handles the correspondence for the Associate Lawyer, and ensures that any document transmitted externally is impeccable in terms of language and form in general (spelling, punctuation, page layout);
  • Receives visitors;
  • Monitors the systematization and rigorous recording on the server of the works, reports, correspondence, according to the criteria provided in these internal rules and procedures;
  • Arranges travel and makes reservations and other related formalities;
  • Enters, modifies and updates in the database the information regarding clients and any other contacts useful to the Company, with the support of and based on the information provided by the Collaborating Lawyers/Associate Lawyers;
  • Responds to the Associate Lawyer's requests on any administrative topics and ensures follow-up in order to complete the allocated tasks.
  • Permanently monitors the situation of utility and other service providers and handles the payment of invoices.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Completed or ongoing higher education in the legal or administrative field;
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a legal environment is an advantage;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and English;
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Solid technical skills, including advanced knowledge of operating the computer and the Microsoft Office programs. The schedule is 09.00 – 18.00 with a lunch break in the interval 13.30 – 14.30.
