About the role
Legal Talent Search, a Kapital HR project in partnership with Juridice.ro, is recruiting for an international law firm a Lawyer specialized in Competition Law, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, to join its Bucharest team and work on complex projects for local and international companies.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal assistance in Romanian and European competition law;
- Involvement in projects concerning mergers and notifications to the competent authorities;
- Analyzing competition aspects related to transactions and commercial operations;
- Assisting clients in investigations conducted by competition authorities;
- Drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other specific documents;
- Participating in competition compliance and audit projects;
- Analyzing legislation, authorities’ practice and relevant case law;
- Assessing the legal and commercial risks associated with various contractual structures and business initiatives;
- Collaborating with lawyers from other practice areas on multidisciplinary projects;
- Maintaining constant communication with clients and providing legal solutions tailored to their needs.
Requirements:
- Law degree and status as a fully qualified lawyer or a lawyer with relevant experience in the field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in competition law;
- Solid knowledge of Romanian and European competition law;
- Experience in mergers, antitrust rules or compliance projects is an advantage;
- Strong legal analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Very good legal drafting and communication skills;
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken;
- Ability to organize and manage several projects simultaneously;
- Proactive attitude, focused on solutions and professional development.
