Legal Talent Search, a Kapital HR project in partnership with Juridice.ro, is recruiting for a prestigious Bucharest law firm with a strong and highly regarded Tech & Data Privacy practice, a fully-fledged lawyer to join its growing team.
The role is addressed to a highly motivated lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in data protection and/or technology law, eager to take the next step in their career and work on complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on complex data protection and technology projects;
- Interpreting and applying the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the AI Act and other relevant regulations and regulatory guidelines;
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to data privacy and technology matters;
- Providing clear, practical and business-oriented legal advice to clients;
- Managing projects efficiently and building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues;
- Working closely with team members and mentoring junior colleagues when needed.
Candidate profile
- Fully-fledged lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in data protection and/or technology law;
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR, the AI Act and relevant technology regulations;
- Excellent legal research and drafting skills;
- Outstanding analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice on data privacy and technology matters;
- Professional integrity, attention to detail, strong organisational skills and adaptability;
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients;
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
- Willingness to mentor junior colleagues when needed.
