For our client, top player commodities trader we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their energy commodities’ team in Bucharest.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing the market, developing business plans, and evaluating investment opportunities. The candidate will be expected to prepare presentations for management and stakeholders. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the energy industry and be able to identify trends and opportunities. Additionally, the candidate will have opportunities to work with the global business, providing exposure to a multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse the energy commodities market and provide insights to senior management
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
- Create business plans for investment opportunities, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and financial analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess investment opportunities
- Prepare presentations for management and stakeholders
- Conduct research on industry trends and developments
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry contacts
- Focus on self-growth and development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics Finance or Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience in management consulting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the energy commodities industry
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of English language
