About the role
Kapital HR is looking, for its client, one of the major players in the furniture industry, for a person to fill the position of Furniture Buyer.
We are looking for a person with experience on international markets who can expand the network of furniture suppliers.
Responsibilities

- Identifying and evaluating international furniture suppliers.
- Negotiating the terms and conditions of purchase, including prices, delivery deadlines and quality.
- Monitoring international markets for trends and purchasing opportunities.
- Participating in specialized international fairs.
- Collaborating with the internal design and production teams to ensure the products' compliance with the company's standards.
- Managing the documentation and the purchasing contracts.
- Analyzing costs and managing the purchasing budget in order to maximize financial efficiency.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure a constant flow of products.
- Tracking the delivery of products.
Requirements
Requirements
- Higher education in the field of business management, procurement or related fields.
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years in procurement on international markets, preferably in the furniture field.
- Solid knowledge of international markets and supplier dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Capacity for analysis and results orientation.
- Knowledge of foreign languages (English – advanced level; other languages are an advantage).
- Skills in using procurement management software and MS Office.
