About the role

We are looking for a European Funds Access Consultant, for one of our clients, one of the most important companies in the field in Romania.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients in the process of accessing European funds, providing them with information and assistance in preparing the necessary documents;
  • Drafting and managing European financing projects, ensuring compliance with the deadlines and specific requirements;
  • Identifying European financing opportunities for our clients and assessing their eligibility;
  • Collaborating with public authorities and other relevant organizations in order to obtain up-to-date information and to ensure compliance with European regulations;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of projects, ensuring the correct and efficient implementation of the planned activities;
  • Ensuring the periodic reporting and the documentation necessary to demonstrate the correct use of European funds;
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new partnerships in order to expand the project portfolio.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (economics, public administration, political science, etc.);
  • Previous experience in accessing European funds and knowledge of the specific legislation and procedures;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in Romanian and in English;
  • The ability to work in a team and to efficiently manage several projects simultaneously;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines;
  • Knowledge of project evaluation tools and methodologies;
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in European legislation and policies.
