About the role
Overview
Kapital HR is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients—one of Romania’s most highly regarded consulting firms specializing in grants and European funding—a European Funds Writing and Implementation Consultant to manage funding projects for private companies, from the proposal writing stage through implementation and monitoring.
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional with experience in drafting and coordinating non-reimbursable funding projects, and a strong understanding of the processes specific to funding programs for the private sector.
The role involves taking over projects after the commercial and preliminary assessment stages completed by the sales team and managing the operational aspects of proposal writing, submission, implementation, and project monitoring in compliance with the funding authority’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Taking over projects from the sales team after the pre-assessment and eligibility stages;
• Preparing funding applications, business plans, and related project documentation;
• Collecting and verifying all documents required for project submission;
• Managing the project submission process through the relevant online platforms;
• Maintaining ongoing communication with clients to obtain the necessary information and documentation;
• Monitoring project evaluation stages and responding to clarification requests from funding authorities;
• Coordinating the implementation of approved projects in accordance with contractual requirements;
• Preparing progress reports, reimbursement claims, and implementation-related documentation;
• Collaborating with managing authorities, intermediary bodies, and other relevant institutions;
• Ensuring compliance with project deadlines, budgets, and performance indicators;
• Managing client relationships throughout the project implementation period;
• Staying up to date with applicant guidelines, legislation, and changes to funding programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in writing and implementing European-funded projects;
• Experience managing projects for private companies is an essential requirement;
• Strong knowledge of national and European funding programs;
• Experience preparing funding applications and related project documentation;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• High attention to detail and strong document analysis skills;
• Solid understanding of project implementation and reporting processes;
• Good communication and client relationship management skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
