Tendering Engineer – Real Estate Developer
About the role
Kapital HR is recruiting, for an important client in the real estate development sector, a Tendering Engineer. This role involves preparing technical and financial offers, analyzing projects and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the success of the tendering process.
Responsibilities

- **Drawing up technical-financial offers:** - Analyzing project documentation (specifications, technical drawings, specifications). - Preparing and drafting technical and financial offers for ongoing or new projects. - Preparing tender documentation, launching tenders, monitoring and closing them
- **Cost analysis:** - Calculating the direct and indirect costs associated with projects. - Identifying and evaluating alternatives for cost optimization without compromising quality. - Identifying suppliers and contractors, planning and monitoring budgets
- **Collaboration with internal teams:** - Working closely with the design, procurement and management teams to ensure the compliance of the offers. - Verifying and adjusting the offers according to the beneficiaries' requirements and to the changes that occur.
- **Managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers:** - Requesting price offers from suppliers and subcontractors, analyzing them and integrating them into the final proposal. - Negotiating commercial terms to maximize financial efficiency.
- **Market monitoring:** - Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for optimizing technical solutions. - Constantly updating the database with the prices and rates relevant to the sector.
- **Support for the project team:** - Ensuring fluent communication between the internal teams and the project beneficiaries. - Participating in technical meetings for clarifications regarding the offers and proposals. - Drawing up and verifying the work situations

- **Education:** Higher technical education in civil/industrial construction or installations.
- **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- **Technical competencies:** - Advanced knowledge of interpreting technical documentation and design drawings. - Experience in using tendering, calculation and planning software (e.g. WinDev, MS Excel, AutoCAD). - Familiarity with construction norms and standards.
- **Interpersonal skills:** - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. - Capacity for analysis and decision-making. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the parties involved.
- **Foreign languages:** English – intermediate-advanced level; knowledge of another language constitutes an advantage.
