About the role
Kapital HR is looking, for one of its clients, an architecture firm with large projects in civil and industrial construction, for a good Structural Design Engineer.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- You will coordinate structural projects (from the concept phase to the DDE phase)
- You will plan the project, making sure that the delivery deadlines, the contractual conditions and the design methodology are observed
- You will verify bills of quantities
- You will verify the written and drawn parts produced by third parties
- You will propose alternative solutions compatible with the existing constraints
- You will identify solutions for the optimization of the projects
- You will verify the correlation of the project with the beneficiary's requirements
- You will verify the correlation of the structural project with the other specialties
- You will verify the correlation of the project with the law in force
- You will make sure that the project is complete (includes all the parts)
- You will draw up various analyses and reports
- You will draw up design briefs – the structural specialty
- You will participate in the work meetings
- You will ensure good collaboration with the consultants (verifiers and experts) approved by the beneficiary
- You will travel to the site to solve the problems that arise
- You will participate in the determinant phases for which you are requested on site
- You will identify solutions for streamlining the activity and you will include them in the work procedures.
Requirements
Requirements
- You are a graduate of the faculty of civil construction
- You have minimum 10 years of experience in the design of resistance structures
- You have advanced knowledge of working with the ETABS and SAP2000 programs
- You know the design norms at an advanced level
- You know the design of resistance structures at an advanced level
- You know how to perform nonlinear static (Pushover) and nonlinear dynamic (Time History) analysis
- You have the ability to verify projects from a qualitative point of view
- You can coordinate the work team
- You have drawing knowledge in Nemetschek Allplan (constitutes an advantage)
