Kapital HR is recruiting a Concrete Structures Design Engineer for one of its clients active in design services.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Draws up the structural projects (from the SF phase to the DDE phase);
- Plans the project, making sure that the delivery deadlines, the contractual conditions and the design methodology are observed;
- Correctly calculates or estimates the realization in time of the operations, phases and technological stages of the project;
- Carefully studies the building's architecture brief, makes proposals for the placement of the axes, bays and spans, for the purpose of the qualitative conformation of the structure;
- Coordinates the project team, for the projects for which they are responsible;
- Correctly and quickly carries out the preliminary pre-dimensioning calculations regarding the shape and dimensions of the structure's elements for the purpose of the qualitative conformation of the structure;
- Draws up the written parts of a project (technical report, specifications, site instructions etc.);
- Draws up bills of quantities;
- Verifies the written and drawn parts produced by other colleagues;
- Participates in the work meetings;
- Uses modern concepts in the design of resistance structures – nonlinear static (Pushover) and nonlinear dynamic (Time History) analysis;
- Ensures good collaboration with the consultants (verifiers and experts) approved by the beneficiary and presents to them the calculation notes and the constructive solutions;
- Participates in the determinant phases and in the command meetings for which they are requested on site;
- Travels to the site to solve the problems that arise;
- Identifies solutions for streamlining the activity and includes them in the work procedures;
- Draws up calculation sheets for the dimensioning calculations commonly used;
- Provides solutions to the problems that arise within the organization.
Requirements
Requirements
- Graduate of a faculty of Civil construction;
- Advanced knowledge of working with the ETABS program;
- Thorough knowledge of the design norms;
- Drawing knowledge in Nemetschek Allplan constitutes an advantage.
