About the role

General description of the role

GTA HR & Kapital HR are recruiting a Legal Manager with solid experience in commercial law, to build and develop the company's internal legal function. The chosen person will be responsible for the efficient organization of the legal department, the establishment of internal processes and the supervision of legal activity, collaborating closely with the management team and with all internal departments.

This is a building role, with a high level of autonomy, decision-making and visibility within the organization. You will coordinate both internal activities and collaborations with external law firms.

  • **Contracts & Commercial Negotiations (60–70%)**: drafting, analyzing and negotiating commercial contracts (with emphasis on contracts with clients and suppliers);
  • **Corporate & Compliance**: managing the aspects related to the company's legal compliance, labor law, constitutive acts, statutory amendments;
  • **Litigation**: coordinating legal cases with external firms, without direct involvement in court;
  • **Financing**: legal support in financing projects (no experience in M&A or complex transactions is required);
  • **Supervision of specific regulations**: GDPR, taxation, cybersecurity and other relevant legal requirements;
  • **Monitoring legislation**: tracking legislative changes and updating internal policies;
  • **Team management**: coordinating the internal legal team (with the possibility of hiring a junior in the immediately following period);
  • **Interdepartmental collaboration**: working closely with the financial, operational, commercial, HR, R&D departments;
  • **Relationship with external law firms**: the selection, coordination and evaluation of external legal partners.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial law (contracts, negotiations);
  • Complementary experience in corporate, financing, compliance and labor law – an advantage;
  • Previous in-house experience – preferable (but we also accept candidates from law firms with a business orientation);
  • Knowledge of the IT industry or the ability to understand its specifics – an advantage;
  • Experience in collaborating with retailers, banks or large clients – constitutes a plus;
  • Orientation towards business and solutions, not just the identification of risks;
  • Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills;
  • Strategic thinking and proactivity;
  • A high level of autonomy, confidence and the desire to have a real impact in the company.
