About the role

KapitalHR is recruiting, for its client, a top hypermarket in Romania, a person with a technical profile and experience in large-scale project management, to fill the position of Project Manager - checkout line

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manages, from a technical standpoint, the operations for more than 1500 points of sale, with a continuous focus on the business role of the checkout line
  • Ensures the alignment of the business strategy with the technical strategy
  • Continuously evaluates the market of maintenance services, develops, proposes and implements optimized strategies for the maintenance of the equipment on the checkout line
  • Actively participates in writing the specifications for the suppliers of projects and operations, including functional and technical requirements, the expected technologies, architectures, project and operations KPIs
  • Negotiates the technical and commercial offers
  • Tracks the deliveries, ensuring the Contract Management services.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Completed higher education with a technical profile
  • Knowledge of the market of services and associated equipment, including payment processing, fiscal printers, etc.
  • Solid experience in Project Management – Senior level
  • Hands-on experience and a “root”-type understanding of technical processes, a prerequisite for the capacity to request, to negotiate, to validate and to operationalize the accepted technical solutions
  • Proven experience in managing the operations and projects on the checkout line
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, keeping within scope, budget and deadline, a perfect mix of “Big Picture” and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills well adapted at the level of the project team and management.
