Kapital HR is looking for an R&D Manager for its client, a leader in the field of design and production of high-quality furniture, with an extensive portfolio of products intended for different markets. The main role and responsibilities: As an R&D Manager you will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the existing product range. You will work closely with the sales, production and other departments' teams to develop innovative and attractive products.
Responsibilities
- **Research and Trend Anticipation**: Monitor the upholstered furniture and mattress market to identify trends and innovative products that can be launched on the market.
- **Interdepartmental Collaboration**: Coordinate the sales, design and production teams for the development of new furniture product ideas.
- **Product Life Cycle Management**: Oversee the entire product development process, from conception to launch, and constantly evaluate the improvements that can be made to existing products.
- **Collaboration with the Marketing and Sales departments**: Contribute to the creation of effective advertising strategies, in order to highlight the features of the developed products.
- **Quality Assurance**: You ensure that all furniture products meet the market's and the company's standards and that they satisfy the clients' needs.
- **Communication with the parties involved**: Maintain constant communication with all stakeholders, informing them about the updates and the progress of product implementation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture design, with an advantage for experience in the field of upholstered furniture (beds, sofas).
- Higher education in the field of furniture design or engineering – an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of iMOS, 3D Studio Max, CorelDraw, SolidWorks – an advantage.
- Excellent PC operating skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Creativity, attention to detail and orientation towards quality results.
