- Implements and maintains an adequate framework regarding risk regulations, standards and methodologies, in order to facilitate the identification, assessment, monitoring and control of risks;
- Proposes and ensures the development of the risk strategy, in accordance with the guidelines provided;
- Issues risk opinions regarding the internal regulations submitted for endorsement;
- Provides a risk opinion on new products;
- Issues risk opinions regarding the activities proposed to be outsourced, from the perspective of the risks involved in outsourcing;
- Verifies and validates that the products/activities described in norms and procedures comply with the approved risk strategy and risk profile;
- Recommends credit limits for economic sectors, geographic areas and various specific products;
- Issues risk opinions regarding the exposure limits to interbank counterparties;
- Evaluates the efficiency of the models for classifying clients into default categories (scoring models) and at least annually assists the process of recalibrating them;
- Participates in carrying out the recalibration of the parameters used within the individual and collective review process in order to determine the impairment adjustments (PD, LGD, etc.).
Requirements
Requirements
- Excellent economic and technical knowledge and appropriate experience in the area of responsibility.
- Very good knowledge and experience regarding banking operations, banking regulations and norms, as well as the legal framework in force
- Knowledge of English (advanced level)
- Relevant experience in a similar position of min. 3 years
- Use of text editing programs (e.g. Microsoft Word), database management programs (e.g. Microsoft Excel or Access), presentation programs (e.g. Power Point)
- Completed higher education in the economic field
- Specialization courses are an advantage: banking risk management, banking legislation, foreign languages, etc.
