Kapital HR is looking, for one of its clients, a top producer of high-quality cold cuts, dedicated to excellence and innovation in the food industry, for a Warehouse Manager who will coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse in Caracal, with the responsibility of organizing, managing and monitoring the product flows, ensuring that stocks are correctly managed and that operations are efficient. This person will supervise the warehouse team and will work closely with other departments to support fast and accurate deliveries to clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the warehouse: reception, storage, handling.
- Monitors and manages the stocks, carries out periodic inventories and ensures that the internal stock management procedures are respected.
- Organizes and optimizes the goods flows in the warehouse to ensure an efficient and fast process of handling and preparing the goods
- Supervises the team of warehouse employees, providing clear instructions, carrying out performance evaluations and ensuring that the employees are properly trained.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading activities of the products, complying with the safety and quality standards.
- Ensures compliance with the safety and hygiene norms in the warehouse, and implements measures to prevent risks.
- Collaborates with the sales, procurement and logistics departments to ensure continuous product flows and on-time deliveries.
- Prepares periodic reports on stocks, warehouse performance and other key indicators.
- Uses warehouse management systems (ERP software) to track stock movements and update information in real time and for invoicing.
- Monitors compliance with the deadlines and quantities for deliveries to clients and to other partners.
- Implementing and supervising the procedures for optimizing the storage spaces and the goods flow.
Requirements
- Secondary/higher education (preferably in the field of logistics, economics or related fields).
- Experience of minimum 2-3 years in a similar position, in the field of warehousing or logistics.
- Organizational and team management skills.
- Knowledge of operating computerized stock management systems (ERP, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the safety and occupational health procedures in a warehouse.
- The ability to manage several activities simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and responsibility.
- Availability to work in a dynamic environment and in shifts, if necessary.
