Kapital HR is recruiting an R&D Specialist for the team of a renowned cold cuts factory in Caracal, Olt county. The role involves the coordination and supervision of the activities related to the development of products from the company's portfolio.
Responsibilities

- – Participates in the activity of **developing new products** and **modifying existing ones**, in accordance with market requirements and compliance with the legislation in force;
- – Analyzes the **proposals for new projects** in terms of the **material resources** and **production capacities** involved and makes proposals accordingly;
- – Reviews and **permanently updates** all the **technological processes** for all products, with a view to **optimizing costs, quality, and productivity**, in accordance with the approved procedures;
- – Develops and **updates the work instructions**;
- – Keeps the **documentation** regarding the **technological recipes** and the **technological processes**;
- – Analyzes the **requests** regarding the **purchase of raw materials** and **auxiliary materials**;
- – Gets involved in the **activity of reducing production costs**;
- – Analyzes the **consumption of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and materials**, compared to the standard consumption, and makes **improvement proposals**;
- – Supervises the **drafting of the specifications** for **raw materials and finished products**;
- – Maintains the **relationship with the suppliers** of auxiliary materials and additives in order to know the market and choose the **optimal options** for the company;
- – **Approves the components** that make up the product – **raw materials, auxiliary materials, packaging**.
Requirements
Requirements
- – **Higher specialized education** (food engineering/meat technology/food industry);
- – **Experience of at least 5 years in the food industry** (experience in meat/cold cuts processing – a major advantage);
- – Analytical thinking and the capacity for synthesis;
- – Very good **communication skills** – persuasion, firmness, diplomacy, constructive dialogue, and choosing the appropriate communication channels;
- – **Positive attitude** in solving problems, patience, and meticulousness;
- – **Professional ethics and conduct**, transparency, and integrity;
- – **Team spirit**, organization, and attention to detail;
- – Good **knowledge** of computer operation (Excel, ERP, etc.).
