Debt Recovery Specialist / Case Manager
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- – Analyzes, together with the analyst and the legal department, the legal files of the debtors and forms a clear picture of them.
- – Meets with all the relevant actors in each file (shareholders, administrators, liquidators, other creditors, interested investors, etc.) and outlines a clear picture of the balance of power/interests of the parties.
- – Analyzes and decides, together with the analyst, the RE specialist, and/or other experts on the market, the reorganization possibilities of the active debtors and/or the reuse/salvaging of the productive assets.
- – Identifies, together with the analyst and the legal department, the potential working strategies for each file.
- – Analyzes, together with the analyst/legal department, the offers received from the market and decides on their viability.
- – Tests the potential strategies through meetings and negotiations with all the parties involved, in order to identify the feasible ones.
- – Agrees on and structures the final recovery strategies, based on the results obtained from the negotiations.
- – Prepares the memoranda for these strategies and defends them before the credit committee.
- – Coordinates and supervises the implementation of the approvals received, in collaboration with the analyst/legal/other external service providers.
- – Creates a prioritization of the debtors, according to several criteria, in accordance with the plan agreed with the project coordinator.
- – Prepares activity reports, portfolio situations, etc., in accordance with the requests of the management.
- – Participates in auctions/creditors' meetings and votes in accordance with the mandates obtained from the company.
Requirements
Requirements
- Higher education in economics or law
- Relevant knowledge/experience in the field of enforcement/debt recovery/reorganization/insolvency procedures.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, of understanding the debtors' business, and the industries in which they operate.
- Relevant experience in loan restructuring, including their negotiation.
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of English.
- Capacity for analysis, synthesis, attention to detail.
