Kapital HR is recruiting for one of the clients in its portfolio, a top producer in the food industry, with a tradition of over 50 years, a Production Director.

- Supervises the production processes for the observance of the quality parameters;
- Ensures compliance with the consumption norms, of raw materials, materials, energy and fuels;
- Ensures the supply of the quantities of raw materials and materials prescribed in the sheets for executing the products in accordance with the established execution program;
- Monitors the observance of the efficient use of materials in order to comply with the consumption norms;
- Schedules the manner of compliance with consumption and monitors the active operating time of the equipment in order to eliminate the waste of energy;
- Evaluates the consumption and production costs and proposes improvement solutions;
- Ensures safety in the conduct of the production process;
- Proposes solutions for the production equipment;
- Approves the technological instructions for each production phase, both upon their implementation and upon their modification, and ensures the appropriate adaptation of the technology to the production needs;
- Coordinates the research and development team for new products.
Requirements
Requirements
- Completed higher education, in the food industry, control and expertise of food products;
- Experience of at least 10 years in a similar position;
- Experience of at least 3 years in the field of research – development of new products;
- Experience in carrying out and implementing standardization projects for the performance of activities, departments, positions, KPI, MBO, company reorganization processes, IFS certifications;
- Masters excel, word, outlook;
- ERP software operating knowledge;
- Category B driving license;
- English at medium-advanced level;
- Technical knowledge: the technology of processing canned fruit, the technology of processing canned vegetables, the technology of manufacturing juices and syrups, the technology of processing vinegars, the technology of processing canned meat;
- Capable of promoting an open and constructive attitude within the departments;
- Has initiative regarding the improvement and/ or diversification of the quality of products and/ or services and the increase of customer satisfaction;
- Capable of building an organizational culture centered on quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Is an assiduous promoter of team values;
- Tactical abilities, being capable of conceiving and implementing complex action plans at organization level;
- Identifies development opportunities important for the organization and acts to materialize them;
- Capable of making strategic decisions based on the analysis of results;
- Capable of creating an organizational climate that supports employees to reach their maximum potential.
