Kapital HR is recruiting, for one of its clients, a top international bank, a Head of Cards.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- – Coordinates the activity of the Department;
- – Creates and improves the internal procedures regarding the card issuing/acceptance activity at ATM/POS;
- – Analyzes/applies the changes generated by the new legislative regulations regarding the card activity;
- – Monitors the operational costs and finds/proposes solutions for reducing them;
- – Ensures communication and applies the recommendations received from the Group, regarding reporting, the procedures for approving expenses, etc;
- – Coordinates the proper functioning of the card system;
- – Prioritizes the activity in the Department in case of activity interruption;
- – Provides support/tests the implementation of the new applications developed for the card activity;
- – Ensures/continues to find solutions for the standardization and optimization of the card activity;
- – Ensures/transmits to other departments within the Bank/VISA/MasterCard/BNR reports regarding the card activity;
- – Monitors the daily errors arising in the daily process and finds solutions for eliminating them;
- – Evaluates the subordinate personnel in accordance with the requirements of the Human Resources Department;
- – Interacts/collaborates with VISA, MasterCard, BNR, the Card Processor and other suppliers/service providers in order to ensure performance in the card activity;
- – Holds the responsibility for the correct identification of events with operational risk according to the operational risk collection methodology;
- – Ensures the correct reporting of the data about the losses caused by operational risks and their notification to the Operational Risks Service;
- – Proposes/monitors/implements with the Card Processor new projects/products/services;
