About the role
Kapital HR is looking for an R&D Specialist for one of its clients, a top producer of high-quality cold cuts, dedicated to excellence and innovation in the food industry. The main role is the coordination and supervision of the product development activities within the company's portfolio, ensuring that they comply with market requirements, legislative norms, and the quality standards imposed by the industry.

- Coordinates the activities of developing new products and modifying existing ones, in accordance with market requirements and the legislation in force.
- Evaluates proposals for new projects, analyzing the material resources and production capacities involved, making recommendations accordingly.
- Reviews and updates the technological processes for all products, in order to optimize costs, quality, and productivity, in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Supervises the drafting and updating of the work instructions.
- Maintains the documentation related to the technological recipes and the associated processes.
- Supervises the requests for the purchase of raw materials and auxiliary materials.
- Contributes to reducing production costs through the analysis and optimization of processes.
- Develops and implements periodic control plans for monitoring the application of the technologies used.
- Analyzes the consumption of raw materials and auxiliary materials, comparing them with the planned consumption, and proposes improvement solutions.
- Supervises the drafting of the specifications for the raw materials and finished products.
- Maintains constant relationships with the suppliers of auxiliary materials and additives, in order to identify the best solutions for the company.
- Approves the components that make up the products (raw materials, auxiliary materials, packaging).
- Actively participates in seminars, meetings, and training sessions on technology, legislation, equipment, and other relevant topics.
- Proposes solutions for the development of the R&D department and the selection of suitable personnel.
- Is an active member of the company's HACCP team, ensuring compliance with food safety norms.
Requirements
Requirements
- Higher education in the field of the food industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the meat industry.
- Advanced use of the PC and the internet, within the limits of the job duties.
- Knowledge of the company's organizational structure.
- Solid knowledge of the applicable legislation in the field of the food industry.
- PC operation: Excel, Word – intermediate level.
