Overview
Kapital HR is seeking a Senior IT Manager – AI Driven Solutions for one of its clients. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in business relationship management, solution consultancy or implementation for tech products, business analysis in IT / software / SaaS / AI projects or client- focus business development, combined with a proactive curiosity and practical interest in AI technologies.
This team member is responsible for managing client relationship, driving business growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide management oversight for existing projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives;
- Lead client negotiations, identify needs, scope problems, and define project plans that deliver measurable results;
- Provide strategic advisory to clients, helping them understand how AI solutions can address their business challenges;
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders (both client-side and internally), ensuring clear communication and collaboration;
- Collaborate with technical teams to make sure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client needs;
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and delivery outcomes;
- Challenge and clarify any unrealistic client expectations and work with internal teams to define feasible commitments, ensuring that promises made to clients are fully aligned with internal capacity and constraints;
- Drive prospecting efforts: upsell to existing clients and identify new business
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field; PhD in IT or a closely related field is preferred;
- Certifications in Business Relationship Management, ITIL, project management, or similar frameworks are valued;
- 7+ years in IT management, business development, technology consulting or SaaS sales;
- Experience in client-facing roles, including negotiation, needs assessment, and project scoping;
- Knowledge of AI techniques (e.g., machine learning, data analytics, automation) is a strong plus;
- Solid grasp of project and service management concepts; ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on time and in line with commitments;
- Ability to understand system capabilities and limitations, balancing client expectations with internal constraints and profitability;
- Repeatedly guided external clients away from out of scope features and toward phased, achievable solutions, then delivered on time boxed pilots;
- Experience with solution selling / consultative sales methodologies;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Romanian languages;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative
